Student Government Association Mission Statement The mission of the Student Government Association of Lamar State College Port Arthur is to be an advocate for the student body, as well as a means of communication between students, faculty, staff and administration. Purpose and Goals The purpose of the Student Government Association (SGA) is to represent, lead, and unify by enhancing the student experience and quality of life on campus. The SGA charges itself with being a voice for the student body and will be responsive to the issues of student’s rights and concerns at Lamar State College Port Arthur (LSCPA). The SGA promotes the image of the institution and its student body and leads with integrity and honor.
