Basics of Cardiovascular Training and Determining Your Exercise Heart Rate
Basics of Strength Training and Flexibility Training
Basics of Nutrition and Weight Management
|Attendance Policy||Absences may be excused by notifying the instructor prior to the absence. More than three unexcused absences will result in a notification to the student and department head that the student may be dropped. If the action is taken after the drop date, a grade of "F" may be recorded for the course. Unexcused absences and/or tardies may NOT be made up in any way.|
|Determination of Final Grade||
One participation grade which will count TWICE, one exam grade, and various other assignment grades will be averaged for a Final Grade.
Participation Grade - Each student will begin with a participation grade of 100. Improper attire, tardiness, absences if not dropped, poor attitude, and/or lack of participating in class will result in 5 points per circumstance deducted from the original grade of 100. This grade will count TWICE, so it can make or BREAK you!
