|Required Textbooks||Milady's Standard textbook of Cosmetology - 2002 Edition, Theory Workbook, Exam Review Book and Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Book.|
|Learning Objectives||Identify terminology and practice basic workplace competencies related to haircutting and finishing techniques. Demonstrate proper use of implements, sectioning, haircutting and finishing skills.|
Skill sheets for lab assignments.
Research topics assigned for special assignment presentation.
Unit tests and chapter assignments.
Basic cutting techinques.
Current styling trends.
Classic styling techniques.
|Attendance Policy||Research has shown a cause and effect relationship between attendance and college success. See also Cosmetology Program Policies. A student with three absences may be dropped from this class.|
