Lamar State College Port Arthur and Flint Hills Resources Port Arthur celebrated a decade-long relationship when Flint Hills Resources made its 10th annual donation of $10,000, bringing the total contribution to the LSCPA scholarship fund to $100,000. The presentation was made during the recent LSCPA Scholarship Luncheon, which recognizes the businesses, organizations and individuals who contribute to the college’s scholarship fund. Taking part in the Flint Hills Resources scholarship donation presentation were, from left, Port Arthur Higher Education Foundation President Dr. Sam Monroe, FHR Community Relations Coordinator, FHR Director of Human Resources Terry Rogers, FHR Site Director Richard Creamer, PAHEF Secretary/Treasurer Ed Boone, LSCPA President Dr. Betty Reynard, and PAHEF Chairman Morris Albright.
