Campus returns to normal, registration extended

With the delayed start of the Spring 2018 semester due to the recent icy weather, Lamar State College Port Arthur has announced an extended registration period.

Classes begin and the campus returns to its regular schedule on Monday, January 22, with registration extended through Friday, January 26. Students will have an additional five days to be admitted to the college and register for classes. Online registration for those students without holds has also been re-opened. Head over to www.lamarpa.edu to get started!

“We want to make certain that everyone making the decision to be with us as a student this spring has enough time to complete the registration process and get started on achieving their goals,” said LSCPA Dean of Student Services Dr. Deborrah Hebert.

As well as offering associate degrees and transferable college credits, LSCPA provides diplomas and certificates in dozens of professional and technical areas. Admission to LSCPA is non-competitive, making higher education accessible to anyone with a high school diploma or the equivalent.
