Allied Health Department
The Allied Health Department believes that learning is a continuous life-long process and maintains that each student has dignity and worth and brings unique experiences
to the educational environment.
The curriculum is based on clearly-stated objectives, relevant content and experiences, and evaluation of program components and outcomes.
The Department is dedicated to produce well educated health care providers with the skills, knowledge, dedication, philosophy and competence to meet the needs of the community.
The Allied Health Department offers courses and a one-year certificate in
Vocational Nursing and Surgical Technology.
Two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees also are available in Surgical Technology, and Upward Mobility Nursing (RN).

Tuition/Fees
Beginning December 22, 2011, On-Line LVN-RN Nursing Program applicants must pay a $65 application fee upon submission of your application to Lamar State College - Port Arthur
Online LVN-RN Nursing Program. Your application to the program will not be processed until this fee is fully paid. This Application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
