Website Requests

How to submit requests for the Lamar State College - Port Arthur website:

  • Clearly state the objective of the request. Be as detailed as possible to ensure your request is serviced correctly and to your expectations.

  • Include detailed contact information for purposes of clarification, verification, authorization, and notification purposes.

  • Print-outs containing comments, notes, diagrams, etc. of current web pages that are to be modified are often helpful and encouraged.

  • Whenever possible, submit materials in an electronic format. This will often help speed up the process and ensure accuracy.

  • If a printed document is to be reproduced on the web, please include both a copy of the printed document as well as an electronic version of the document with your request.

  • Most popular electronic document and image formats are supported. If you are unsure which document or image format to use, contact the Webmaster for guidance.

  • Requests should always be addressed to Webmaster and not to the person holding that position. This will ensure that in the event the Webmaster is unavailable for a period of time, other members in the department might still address your request.

  • Requests may be submitted:
    • Via e-mail to webmaster@lamarpa.edu
    • Through campus mail to Webmaster, Computer Services Dept.
    • In person in the Computer Services Department office at Madison Monroe 210

  • Electronic media formats supported:
    • PC format only; no Macintosh
    • 3.5" diskette
    • CD-ROM
    • DVD-ROM
    • Zip Disk (100MB & 250MB)
