Primary Search - Provides full text articles for 86 popular, elementary magazines for elementary school research, as far back as 1990. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Additionally, Primary Search includes the "Encyclopedia of Animals", and features "Funk & Wagnall's New World Encyclopedia", providing students with easy-to-read encyclopedic entries written specifically for kids. The database also provides the "American Heritage Children's Dictionary", 3rd Edition from Houghton Mifflin, and an Image Collection.
Professional Development Collection (TUTORIAL) - Provides a highly specialized collection of 752 high quality education journals, of which 484 are full text, including 314 peer-reviewed titles. Also contains 229 educational reports and 1 database (American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, 4th Edition).
Teacher Reference Center (TUTORIAL) - Includes full text from 32 academic journals, 37 magazines, 38 newspapers, and 178 books about Texas history, ethnic and cultural diversity, gender studies, literature, public health, business, home and garden, and sports and leisure. This database contains biographies portraying famous historical and contemporary Texans, such as George Herbert Walker Bush, Lady Bird Johnson, Dan Moody, Susanna Dickinson, and Sam Houston. Newspapers providing Texas and national news coverage are also included.
Vocational and Career Collection (TUTORIAL) - Provides full text coverage for 43 academic journals, 120 magazines, and 173 trade and industry-related periodicals.
