Academic Search Complete (TUTORIAL) - A comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary database that offers indexing and abstracts for 13,797 journals and a total of 862 publications, including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. Featuring full text for 7,871 academic journals, 963 magazines, and 163 trade publications. Legal Collection (TUTORIAL) - Contains full text for 275 of the world's most respected scholarly law journals, 91 magazines, 8 books, and 41 trade publications. "The Legal Collection" is an authoritative source for information on current issues, studies, thoughts, and trends of the legal world. This database offers information centered on the discipline of law and legal topics, such as criminal justice, international law, federal law, organized crime, medical, labor & human resource law, ethics, the environment, and much more.

LEXIS-NEXIS Legal Services - The use of this database is RESTRICTED to currently enrolled students in legal assistant classes. Students can access primary source material, such as case law, statutes and regulations, or legal news or law review, for background or analysis of a legal topic. They can validate their case law research with (a) "Shepard's Citations for the Supreme Court" back to 1789; (b) law review articles from over 500 publications; (c) legal news from more than 300 legal newspapers, magazines, and newsletters; (d) U.S. Supreme Court decisions from January 1790 to present; (e) U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decisions; (f) U.S. District Court decisions from 1789 to present; (g) decisions from Bankruptcy Courts, U.S. Court of International Trade, Tax Courts, Courts of Customs and Patent Appeals, and Veterans, Commerce, and Military Courts; (h) State court decisions at all court levels for all 50 states and territories; (i) all federal laws from 1988 to the present; (j) federal regulations; (k) codes for all 50 states and territories, plus constitutions, court rules, and Attorneys General opinions; (l) the IRS bulleting, IRS regulations, ABA Tax Lawyer, AICPA Tax Adviser, and more; (m) patents from 1971 forward; (n) European Union law from the CELEX database and international case law from a number of other countries; and (o) law school directories, including the "Martindale-Hubbell Law School Directory" and "NALP National Directory of Law Schools."

MAS Ultra - School Edition (TUTORIAL) - Provides full text articles for 477 popular general interest and current events publications with information dating as far back as 1975 for key magazines. This database also contains 362 full text reference books (including the Columbia Encyclopedia and the CIA World Fact Book), 944 biographies, 202 country fact sheets, 395 country reports, 11 educational reports, 3 government documents, 4 law books, 3 newspapers, 77 pamphlets, 155 speeches, 139 state/provincial fact sheets, and an Image Collection of over 592,000 photos, maps, flags, and color PDFs.

SIRS Issues Researcher (TRAINING VIDEO) - Provides the best article selections from more than 2,100 domestic and international magazines, journals, newspapers, and websites (1989-present), exploring social, scientific, health, historic, economic, political, and global issues. This database also includes "Leading Issues" which provides instant access to information on: Today's news/current events, world conflicts, Spotlight on…, curriculum pathfinders, natural disasters, World Almanac excerpts, and maps of the world.

Westlaw - The use of this database is RESTRICTED to currently enrolled students in legal assistant classes. Students can access primary source material, such as case law, statutes and regulations, or legal news or law review, for background or analysis of a legal topic.
