Let's try this again. Iwas a studend at LLamar from 9/60-5/61 I knew at least one person who attended Lamar and lived in PPort Arthur at the time. If anybody hits this page and possibly remembers me , let's gert in touch. My memories of that year at La mar hve always been the warmest.

I am from port arthur and just moved here three months ago. LUPA gave me a good start and the professors are way more understanding than over here.

I really miss all my professors and the personal attention I received at this university. Keep up the great work. I'm now at the Beaumont campus majoring in Communications. I would advise anyone to start their college career at Lamar-Port Arthur. I t really helps you adjust to the college life with instructors who care about their students. There are few like that on the Beaumont campus.
