A lot of people think Cosmetology is a laid back course , but you have to learn all about the functions of the body , such as : the nerves , the joints ( the Anatomy) , the dieases of the hands , and the nails.We also had to learn all the layers of the nails , how fast the nails grow , which finger nails grow the fastest and who's grow the fastest,STERILIZATION ,FIRST AID ,Business , Salon conduct ,and business ethics . We had to learn alot in this class. Personal Hyigene is very mandatory in this field. I can't go into all the fields of becoming a Nail Tech. but i must say it was a great experience. I really enjoyed the instructures. Mrs.Thomas , Ms. Bell , and Ms. King . They were really an inspiration , to us all . Please tell them to keep up the good work , and that the Nail Techs. from class of 96 really miss them all and want to say thanks for everything.
