Lamar State College-Port Arthur is the place to be. I have accomplished alot of great things while attending school here during the 2004 fall semester. The teachers are great and the atmosphere is awesome. I definitely would recommend that students try Lamar-Port Arthur before going to another college. I love LSC-PA!!!

Lamar State College-Port Arthur always has been my first choice in college. I don't think I would even consider any other choice. Lamar-Port Authur has the best Cosmetology Program I have seen. Keep up the good work.

LSC-PA has given me a great opportunity to start in life. This campus gave me my first job, and now I didn't have to struggle while learning how to register or get advice from a counselor. Everyone is friendly, and teachers/professors care.

I'm starting my last year at Lamar State College-Port Arthur, and I recently was elected as the president of Phi Theta Kappa and a senator for Student Government Association. I would really like to stress the importance of becoming involved with the many organizations that we have on campus. Please try to find out more information about the different activities/organizations. You will have many great experiences and make many new friends.

After being out of high school 20 years it was hard starting over. But I do not regret one moment of it. To all the young graduates and those to come, take your college days serious because each day will equal up to a credit that you will eventually need to have for success. It will get harder before it get any easier, but remember there is nothing that God can not handle.

I am very proud to see how Lamar-Port Arthur has expanded and grown. I enjoyed myself when I attended the college and have encouraged many others to further their education there. I am proud to have graduated from Lamar-Port Arthur in 1998, and I now am ready to attend LSC-PA again in 2005. I think you all are great. Special thanks to Janice Browning and Patricia Guidry, and a special thank you to Nuni Siddens in the Financial Aid Office. I love you guys. Thanks.

I am a graduate of Lamar-Port Arthur's first LVN program in 1981. I have been trying to obtain my RN since 1990, but for one reason or another I've started and stopped, started and then stopped again. I was only able to attend on a part-time basis because I worked full time, am the the single parent of five sons and have an ill mother to care for. Now I have taken a deep breath for 2004 and want to finish what I began through the Upward Mobility Nursing Program. My oldest son has just been accepted into the LVN program starting in January 2004. I am very proud of this college, I have encouraged my sons to start their college education at Lamar-Port Arthur. I also encouraged all their friends to obtain some type of degree or certificate from Lamar-Port Arthur. Education is important for our young people. Thanks to Lamar-Port Arthur, my third son was able to transfer to the University of Houston in the fall o f2003 to continue his education. So it is safe to say that Lamar-Port Arthur has been good to my family and will continue to help us. I have two sons in public school. I hope to see you in the fall of 2004. Thank you sooo verrrry much!!!!
