Regular Membership:  All students at Lamar State College are eligible for membership in the Association, regardless of their ethnic background.  All members must attend Lamar State College – Port Arthur at least part time and be in good standing, i.e.; not in violation of the Rules of Student Conduct as published in the Lamar State College – Port Arthur Student Handbook.  In ordered to be regarded as regular members of the Association with full voting privileges, students must have made a verbal commitment to the organization and have their membership dues($5.00 per long semester) paid.

Special Membership:In order to be a special member of the organization, without voting privileges, others such as faculty members who are not students, may attend and participate in the Association’s Benefits and Functions.  Alumni may not hold an Office of the Association, or have free transportation on LSC-PA vehicles to or from Events or Functions.

All Members must always consider themselves as ambassadors of the Association and conduct themselves accordingly.  Members shall always make and effort to promote new membership.
