This degree allows a student to complete, in approximately four semesters, the Field of Study Curriculum for Music, which is the set of lower-division courses (31 hours) that must be applied to the bachelor's degree with a major in Music (e.g.; performance, music education [instrumental or vocal], composition, etc.). These courses are the courses that all first and second year Music majors take at all two and four year institutions.
