The goal of the Graphic Design Program is to provide graduates with the specific skills, knowledge, and training that will enable them to be successful in the computer graphic job market, or as a graphic artist. Program topics include design, drawing, web design, digital publishing, art history, and fundamentals of photography.

State-of-the-art computer labs and design equipment produce graduates with a strong background in the latest print and digital media. Graduates of this program will be able to create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts, develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites, and prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors while making necessary changes. Graduates can work in several different areas, including commercial and industrial design, multimedia, and animation.
