What is the MyLamarPA Mobile app?

The MyLamarPA Mobile app is a convenient set of mobile-friendly resources for students, faculty, alumni, future students and visitors of Lamar State college. Features include: Social Media, Videos, Library, Campus Security, Athletics News, Appointments, Account Management, Class Schedule, Lookup Classes, Add/Drop Classes, Holds, and Final Grades.

Where can I find the MyLamarPA Mobile app?

The MyLamarPA Mobile app is FREE to all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors at LSCPA. The app can be downloaded from the Apple's App Store for iPhone, iPod, and iPad or from Google's Android Marketplace for Android devices.

What features and resources do I have access to in the MyLamarPA Mobile app?

The MyLamarPA Mobile app provides access to Public and Private resources.

Public resources are accessible to everyone include:

  • Contact Campus Security
  • View Athletic News
  • Schedule an Appointment
  • View Social Media
  • View Videos
  • Access the Library

Private resources are only accessible to current and future admitted LSCPA Students:

  • View Schedule
  • Lookup Classes
  • Add/Drop Classes
  • View Holds

  • Schedule an Appointment
  • Update Address and Emergency Contacts
  • Access the Library

What device(s) does the MyLamarPA Mobile app support?

All iOS (Apple) and Android Devices.

How do I log in to the MyLamarPA Mobile app?

From your device, launch the app by selecting the "MyLamarPA Mobile" icon. Touch the "Login" button in the upper-right corner of the app. Enter your username and password and touch the "Login" button. Use the same username and password as your MyLamarPA computer account to login to the MyLamarPA Mobile app.

What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, touch the "Forgot Password?" link on the login screen to reset your password. In order to use this option you must have a Personal E-mail Address as well as your LSCPA Username, Year of Birth, and last 4 digits of your SSN. Otherwise, contact the LSCPA IT HelpDesk for assistance (see contact information below).

How to Report an Issue with the App

If you encounter an issue with the app, please contact the LSCPA IT HelpDesk (see below for contact information).

Troubleshooting Steps

If the app icons are not loading after the application update, use the Troubleshoot option located under the "Menu". Press the "Reset My App" button to reset the app to the default settings. Once done, you will get an Update Manager popup. Press "Yes" to proceed with the update.
