10-8-20, noon: Hurricane Delta Update

Students, Faculty & Staff:

Based on information from the National Weather Service this morning, Hurricane Delta is expected to make landfall on Friday, October 9, in the afternoon hours along the central Gulf coast of Louisiana.

LSCPA administrators are keeping a close eye on the progress of the storm as it nears the coast. Currently, the College will be open and classes will be held as scheduled on Friday.
There is a 4 p.m. National Weather Service update today. Based on that report, administrators will consider any necessary changes for Friday’s class schedule.
