Take two free classes on us this summer
What’s better than getting something for free? Getting two for free! Lamar State College Port Arthur is offering two no-strings-attached free classes during the upcoming Summer 2022 semester.
Registration for the Summer semesters started on April 1 with classes being offered face-to-face and online, providing the perfect opportunity to start a new college experience or enhance a degree or certificate that’s already been started.
“We have all been through an extremely difficult time with the pandemic and the impact of inflation across the nation,” Dr. Betty Reynard, president of LSCPA, said. “Offering two free classes this summer is our way of making an immediate impact for our residents. We’re excited to see people take advantage and seek out a better future as part of this opportunity.”
Students can save more than $708 this summer as Lamar State College Port Arthur offers two free classes, up to six credit hours, with classes available in both technical and academic areas of the college.
To take advantage of the two free classes, current LSCPA students need only register for up to six hours for the summer semester. New students must complete the Summer-Fall 2022 application at https://goapplytexas.org, which is a free service. Once that application is submitted, LSCPA Enrollment Counselors are waiting to help through the rest of the process. Appointments for counselors can be made through https://lscpa.craniumcafe.com.

Classes for Summer I and Summer III semesters begin on June 6, while classes for Summer II start on July 12.
