  • New students reap benefits of $50,000 grant award

    Life for new students at Lamar State College Port Arthur just got a whole lot easier. LSCPA was notified this week that it has received a $50,000 Accelerate Student Success Planning Grant from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. LSCPA is one of just 80 colleges and universities from across the state to receive part of the more than $4 million grant. Read More

  • Spring 2022 President, Deans List honorees recognized

    Ninety-six Lamar State College Port Arthur students qualified for the President’s List for Spring 2022, an honor earned by students who earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average while completing at least 12 semester credit hours. Another 80 students qualified for the Dean’s List, which requires an overall grade point average of at least 3.6 for the semester. Read More
