The LSCPA Carpentry program is built to move with you — toward your credential and the job you want. As workforce certificate training, it gives you an affordable, fast start without years of classroom time. Here's how the program sets you up for success:
- Learn the core skills. You'll start with NCCER CORE and Level 1, building a strong foundation in the fundamentals every carpenter needs.
- Build real construction skills. Your training covers Basic Framing, Roof Framing, Wall Systems, Floor Systems, Basic Stairs, Building Envelope, and Construction Plans — the practical work that gets buildings built.
- Earn while you learn. This 8-week Earn While You Learn model lets you gain skills and experience on the job, so you're not just studying the trade — you're working in it.
- Train on site. You'll learn right where the work happens, on site at Gated Rentals, 1745 Hwy 63 East, Jasper, Texas, with guidance from industry partners who know the field.
- Earn an industry credential. You'll work toward NCCER certification, a standard recognized by employers across the construction industry.

You'll train on site at Gated Rentals, located at 1745 Hwy 63 East in Jasper, Texas. Learning where the work happens means you build real confidence with real tools and materials.
What is NCCER certification?
NCCER is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) education foundation created in 1996 as The National Center for Construction Education and Research. It was developed with support from more than 125 construction CEOs along with association and academic leaders, who united to create a standardized training and credentialing program for the construction industry. Today, NCCER offers curricula for more than 70 craft areas and more than 70 assessments through over 4,000 accredited training and assessment locations across the United States.
