Forming An Organization

In order to function as a student organization on the Lamar State College-Port Arthur campus, it is required that each organization be recognized as a valid student organization of LSC-PA’s Division of Student Services.
 
Recognition requirements:

  1. Fill out an Application for Recognition As A Student Organization from the Student Activities Office located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center or print one from below and send it to the Student Activities Office.
  2. Membership is limited to LSCPA students, faculty and staff only.
  3. Must have an LSCPA Faculty or Staff member as the organizations advisor.
  4. It conducts its affairs in accordance with college regulations and administrative rules.
  5. Must have Constitution and/or Bylaws in place at time of applying for recognition.
  6. Must have Officers in place at time of applying for recognition. See Organization Information Form.
