Forming An Organization
In order to function as a student organization on the Lamar State College-Port Arthur campus, it is required that each organization be recognized as a valid student organization of LSC-PA’s Division of Student Services.
Recognition requirements:
- Fill out an Application for Recognition As A Student Organization from the Student Activities Office located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center or print one from below and send it to the Student Activities Office.
- Membership is limited to LSCPA students, faculty and staff only.
- Must have an LSCPA Faculty or Staff member as the organizations advisor.
- It conducts its affairs in accordance with college regulations and administrative rules.
- Must have Constitution and/or Bylaws in place at time of applying for recognition.
- Must have Officers in place at time of applying for recognition. See Organization Information Form.
