One username and password are all that's needed to access all LSCPA resources.
- Passwords MUST contain at least 8, but no more than 25 characters.
- Passwords must contain 3 of the following 4 elements:
- Uppercase letter (A - Z)
- Lowercase letter (a - z)
- A number from 0 - 9
- A special character (a space or ~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|\(){}[]:;"'<>,.?/)
- Passwords WILL EXPIRE every 90 days.
- Passwords used in the past WILL NOT be allowed to be used as new passwords.
- Passwords can only be changed ONCE in a 24 hours period.
- Passwords are more secure the longer they are and the more combinations of numbers, upper- and lower-case characters they contain.
- If you have forgotten your password, or have any problems logging into your computer account, contact the Help Desk at (409) 984-6150 or (409) 984-6149 (8:00am-5:00pm, M-F) to have it reset.
Examples of valid passwords:
- BrokenToe8
- wilBur1234
- 1sillyPassword2
Examples of invalid passwords:
- BigToe1 (not enough characters)
- wilBur 1234 (contains a space)
- wilbur1234 (does NOT contain upper-case letter)
- WILBUR1234 (does NOT contain lower-case letter)
- sILLYwILLY (does NOT contain a number)
