High School Equivalency Preparation Classes (GED)

Region 5 Education Service Center Adult Education and Literacy provides high school equivalency exam preparation in reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. These studies culminate in students in achieving the Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency (GED or HiSeT exam) and transitioning to employment and/ or higher education. The program conducts online and face-to face classes throughout Hardin, Jefferson and Orange Counties.

Services are FREE of charge and available to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and no longer enrolled in the public school system. 17 year olds may enroll under certain conditions.
