ALERT: Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Training

All, students, faculty, and staff must complete training on sexual assault and violence prevention in compliance with Title IX and the Clery Act.

Students

All new and transfer students are required to complete the college's online Sexual Assault Prevention training prior to registration. The online training is approximately 2 hours in length and can be completed in multiple sessions.

Once a new student is admitted, a link to our online training course is sent to the student's MyLSCPA email account. Invitations and weekly reminders include the training link. Students may also access the training through MyLSCPA.

Failure to complete this training will impact a student’s ability to register for classes. The training course allows the student to work at their own pace and leave the course to return at a later time. When the student returns to the training session, the course will open to the page where you stopped.

Students that need help accessing the training should contact the Registrar's office. Students that need help accessing their MyLSCPA email account should contact the IT Help Desk

Employees

Faculty and staff are required to complete online Title IX training within 30 days of their hire date.

Title IX Personnel

Title IX personnel are required to complete training specific to their role in the College's Title IX process. 2020 updates to Title IX regulations (34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10)) require that this training be posted on the College's website.
