Free COVID vaccination clinics available at LSCPA

Lamar State College Port Arthur and the City of Port Arthur Health Department are hosting several FREE COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics, starting on Thursday, July 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Other scheduled clinics will take place on Thursday, August 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday, August 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event is open to the public and is taking place in the Student Center, Room 111 on the LSCPA campus, located at 1500 Procter Street in Port Arthur.

The first and second vaccinations are available in Pfizer and Monderna as well as the single-shot Johnson & Johnson dose. Booster shots are also available to those who qualify to receive them. For more information about the booster shot and who qualifies, visit the CDC website.

Vaccinations are available to anyone age 12 and older. Those 18 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No appointment or ID is required to attend or take part.
