Online access limited during MyLSCPA migration

Lamar State College Port Arthur will reveal a new and improved access to its online services starting next week. That means there will be a temporary down period starting this weekend.

The new and improved "MyLamarPA," which will now have the new designation "MyLSCPA," will provide a broader access to online services provided by the college.

Initially, faculty and staff will have access to the new MyLSCPA with students following soon after.

During the migration from the old system to the new, which starts at 1 p.m. this Friday, May 22, some services will not be available for use. The migration of information should take 24-30 hours with the system being up and running again as usual on Monday. A message from Information Technology Director Samir Ghorayeb will go out to faculty and staff by email as soon as the system is up and running again.

MyLamarPA, Banner, Self-Service, Mobile, Imaging/Xtender and Argos will be inaccessible during the final upload of files to the Cloud. However, Blackboard will be accessible through https://blackboard.lamarpa.edu.
