Trunk or Treat community event set for Oct. 31

Lamar State College Port Arthur is hosting one of its most popular community events, the annual Trunk or Treat, on Monday, October 31.

The event, which saw more than 700 people from across Southeast Texas attend a year ago, takes place in the Monroe Performing Arts Center parking lot, located at 1500 Procter Street in Port Arthur. The event, which is free to attend, will run from 5 to 7 p.m.

"This is one of the best community events of the year and we're excited to join together with the people of the area for a great time," Kiet Le, director of Student Activities, said. "We had a huge turnout last year and I expect an even bigger event this year."
