You can win a $250 cash card, $500 scholarship!

Students can win a $250 costume contest cash prize or a $500 scholarship during the "Lights, Camera, Register" event on November 1, 2022.

The event, which begins the registration process for the 2022 Winter Mini and the 2023 Spring semesters, will take place in the Student Center lobby with free food and prizes. One creative student will walk away with a $250 Visa gift card as part of the Hollywood Glam/Character/Actor costume contest.

In addition, there will be a $500 scholarship giveaway. The only requirements for the winner is that he or she register for Spring 2023 classes by November 30.

"We can already tell that we're going to have a great turnout for the Spring 2023 semester," Dr. Tessie Bradford, Dean of Student Services, said. "With new programs available and plenty of financial aid opportunities, people from the area are really responding with interest in the spring semester. We'll be here on Monday, November 1, to help with absolutely anything needed for new or continuing students."
