Lamar State College Port Arthur Invites Campus and Community to Homecoming Basketball Celebration
Port Arthur, Texas — Lamar State College Port Arthur invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the community to come together this Saturday, February 7, 2026, for its Homecoming Basketball Game and campus celebration at the Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center.
The afternoon kicks off at 12 p.m. with a Homecoming reception inside the gym, featuring free hot dogs and live music by Crossroads. The reception provides an opportunity for alumni and community members to reconnect with the campus while students, faculty, and staff gather to celebrate Seahawk pride.
At 2 p.m., the LSCPA Seahawks will take the court against the Paris Dragons in the Homecoming basketball matchup.
Halftime will spotlight academic excellence and student achievement, with recognition of students named to the President’s List and Dean’s List, as well as the announcement of the Homecoming Court. Current LSCPA students in attendance will also be eligible to win raffle prizes throughout the game (must be present to win), including $25 Visa gift cards, an iPad, a PlayStation 5, and $20 Walk-On’s coupons.
Adding to the festivities, DuGood Credit Union will be on site supporting concessions and hosting a special giveaway drawing for Beats Pro headphones, providing even more excitement for attendees.
Fans can also look forward to a special appearance by Arthur the Seahawk, who will be available for photos and meet-and-greet moments throughout the event.
LSCPA encourages the entire community to attend and join in celebrating Homecoming, student success, and Seahawk tradition.
